This restaurant was such a pleasure! Our server, Giuseppe, was so attentive, friendly, and helpful. All of the food was extraordinary: the meat platter for sharing was well thought-out with a beautiful parmesan, honey, and tasty mortadella, salami, and prosciutto. Our main courses, the bolognese as well as a pasta with artichoke and mushrooms were carefully prepared and delectable. That fresh rosemary in the ragu truly made it unforgettable! Go here if you love truly wonderful Italian food. When we get back to London, we will be back for dinner.

Straight forward Italian food whose name translates to '19' which is also its street address is safe as houses. It would have received a 3 star rating but for the fact that the service was notably sub-par.

I've not seen staff look less impressed at having three guests show up to their restaurant on an off-peak weekend time. Given that the restaurant resides within the Crowne Hotel, you would think that a few extra people on an otherwise slow period would have been a positive.

When asked, the waitress said that the set menu was not available on weekends - something which should really be made clear on it's website.

No matter - we ordered off the al la carte where the secondi come in two sizes - depending on your appetite at the time. The Carbonara was a yellow color and salty. The buffalo mozzerella starter was nice but lacked any real flavoring to balance the sweet, starchy slices of the sweet potato bed. My Tagliatelle Port and Beef ragout had roughly the same taste as and M&S ready meal.

When we left the staff looked pleased to have us gone, absent mindedly handing us our coats, without any offer of help or a 'thank you - have a nice day'. All a bit of a disappointing experience.

Such a pleasant surprise! We are staying at the crowne plaza and were so tired after a day of sightseeing we decided just to go downstairs. Honestly, we were prepared for some bland Italian food, but were blown away by how delicious and authentic everything was! In particular, the ricotta raviolis and the mushroom and artichoke pasta were amazing (and vegetarian friendly!). Would highly recommend whether you are staying at the hotel or not.

Food and service was fantastic!   Homemade pappardelle pasta!  And omg the tiramisu!  So heavenly!  Fantastic service from our waitress to help us pick our wine!  And omg a manager that actually provides customer service!  Great restaurant Arnis!   We used to the US Manager that just walks around asking everybody if things were good   Maybe we could properly respond if we actually got our meal!  Not here!   Loved it and make it a must each time we stay at the Crowne!
